Zoukei-Mura 1/32 pienoismalli, rakennussarja.

The Bf 109 G-4 is a unique subtype within the G-1 to G-4 series, which comprised the early G-type variants, and some were used as photographic reconnaissance aircraft. When not equipped with cameras, it could be fitted with R1-R3, as well as R4 (external fuel tanks), R5 (gondola with built-in MK 108), and R6 (gondola with built-in MG 151), and also served as a medium-altitude fighter.

This kit reproduces the R6 specification, equipped with MG 151 gondolas under both wings, and the Trop specification with desert filters, based on thorough research of the actual aircraft. The kit beautifully reproduces even the slightest differences of the G-4, which played a transitional role to the G-6 despite its short production run and limited production.

Enjoy the differences between each type of this legendary aircraft as you assemble this kit.

What are the features of the SWS 1/32 Bf 109 G-4?

  1. After thorough research and repeated design revisions, this 1/32 scale kit faithfully recreates the aircraft's meticulously crafted appearance!
  2. A detailed, full-color instruction manual in both English and Japanese includes illustrations, allowing you to learn about the actual aircraft while assembling.
  3. Two types of color and marking decals are included
  4. The canopy can be displayed open or closed. Masking sheets for painting are also included.

Two color and marking options are available!

One of the color and marking options is a Bf 109 G-4/R6 Trop “Black 1” in desert camouflage with sand filters, flown by Lieutenant Franz Schiess, commander of 8./JG 53, in Tinja, Tunisia, in April 1943. The other is a Bf 109 G-4/R6 “Double Chevron,” flown by Major Wilhelm Ewald of Stab III./JG 3, in Kerch, Russia, in April 1943.

Both aircraft are reproduced in the R6 specification, equipped with the distinctive gun pods on the underside of the wings. In addition, details such as spoked wheels and bulges on the upper surface of the wings, characteristic of the early G-type "G-4," are also faithfully reproduced.
