In the mid-1970s, the F-15 fighter jets were rushed to be deployed as the main air superiority fighter of the US Air Force, and production shifted to the C-type with improved avionics. The two-seater B-type, which was necessary for model changeover training at the time when flight simulation equipment was still immature, was also produced as the D-type with updated avionics, but midway through, it was shifted to specifications that applied to the MSIP (Multi-stage Improvement Program). Later, based on this two-seater F-15D, it developed into the fighter-bomber F-15E Strike Eagle. The kit reproduces the two-seater cockpit and other features with new molds. Limited edition.
