Panzer III Ausf. A. had a layout design traditional for German tanks of World War II. On the front of the hull was steering compartment, in the middle of it the compartment and on the back of it, behind the armored shield, the engine compartment. Above the hull bath there was a superstructure with the turret, weapons: main gun and machine gun in the turret, second machine gun in the hull superstructure.
