Yu Tai did not really fit in with most of the Shoisin. She ran away from her family that lived in the rural north, ending up as a street punk living the shadows of Meijiang. It was not long until the local police caught and imprisoned her. She was given the choice between hard labor and military service. For some reason she chose the latter. It was not long until her talent for stealth was noticed. This eventually gave her the chance to become one of the Unseen, elite rangers who monitor and guard the outskirts of the Shoisin lands on the side of the great salt desert.
