A II Kr. Red Color Guide:

• The А II Кр. Красный color was widely used in the Soviet Air Force for the painting of aircraft insignia, roundels, stencils, and markings from the second half of the 1930s.
• A II Kr. Red was also widely used for painting victory marks, gift inscriptions, and nose art on Soviet aircraft in the middle of WW2.
• Note that А II Кр. Красный was applied on only wooden or mixed-construction aircraft, while all-metal aircraft insignia was painted with its analog А-13 Красная.
