The gray-white RAL 9002 was used by the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht to mark breast crosses, tactical insignia, type designations and splash guards. Also painted armor identification numbers, often with red or black frames 214 RAL 3000 Rot (Red) or 213 RAL 9005 Schwarz (Black)
