The Type 60 Armored Carrier, equipped with the Type 64 Anti-Tank Guided Missile (64MAT), was apparently produced in several experimental units for the purpose of engaging in close anti-tank combat with rifle units. This model is based on the vehicle belonging to the Infantry Training Corps that demonstrated firing during the Comprehensive Firepower Exercise.
This kit precisely recreates the 64MAT launch pad. The guided missile itself is a later model, the ATM-1B.
