One of the main colors of the Luftwaffe, used from 1936 to May 1945 on all types of aircrafts in Germany. The main application - base of all internal surfaces, painting of cockpit interiors, wheel wells, camouflage spots
Used for painting:
- Test prototypes (applied to metal surfaces or previously painted silver Luftwaffe aircraft)
- As a primer for the entire aircraft, plain color early aircraft, training aircraft
- Used in the camouflage scheme of fighters in conjunction with the 274 RLM 71 during the "Battle of Britain" in 1940
- Aircraft interiors, niches and landing gear struts throughout Germany
