The 18th Wing, under the US Air Forces Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), has been based at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa since the Vietnam War. The tail code (letters written on the vertical tail) "ZZ" is a familiar marking to domestic aviation fans since the days of the F-4 fighter planes. The 44th and 67th Fighter Squadrons belonging to this wing have been operating F-15s for a long time and have contributed to peace and stability in the East Asian region, but due to changes in the US Air Force's operational concept and retirement due to aging, the F-15C fighter planes will disappear from the skies of Japan. The kit reproduces the vertical tail, which is different from that of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force aircraft, using a new mold. Limited edition.
