FineMolds 1/48 pienoismalli, rakennussarja.
The prototype Reppu, developed as a successor to the Zero fighter, failed to produce satisfactory results due to insufficient engine power, and by the summer of 1944, development was in danger of being canceled. Mitsubishi then decided to switch to its own engine, a choice it had made since the beginning of development. Flight tests conducted two months later confirmed a significant improvement in performance, bolstering hopes for mass production. However, as the war situation worsened, these test aircraft were unable to be fully developed, and repeated air raids meant that mass production was far from viable, and the aircraft remained a "phantom fighter" until the end of the war.
This finished product measures 249mm long, 291mm wide, and contains approximately 84 parts. Includes a pilot figure in the cockpit.
