Spray Filler, also known as Primer Filler or Spray Putty, is a type of high-density primer used to level, and fill imperfections and improve paint adhesion on various surfaces. Its thick formula allows it to cover scratches, layer lines in 3D prints, and small irregularities in materials such as plastic, resin, metal, wood, and EVA Foam.
In cosplay, the spray filler is essential for preparing armor and props before the final paint job, ensuring a smooth and even surface. It is also used on pieces made with 3D printing in PLA, facilitating post-processing by minimizing visible print lines and reducing the need for manual sanding.

How to use filler primer spray?
- Surface Preparation: The surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or debris. If smooth or glossy, sand lightly with fine sandpaper (400-600) to improve adhesion.
- Product Agitation: Shake the aerosol well for at least 2 minutes before use. Test on a disposable surface to check flow and texture.
- Application Conditions: Use at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C and humidity below 65%. Do not apply in windy, extremely cold, or high-humidity conditions.
- Spray Application: Hold the spray at a 15-20 cm distance. Apply in thin, uniform coats with smooth, steady strokes. Wait 5-10 minutes between coats before reapplying.
- Drying and Finishing: Dry to the touch in 30 minutes. Complete drying in 24 hours. For a more uniform finish, sand lightly before painting.
- Spray Cleanup: After use, invert the sprayer and press the valve for a few seconds to clean the nozzle.
