History Maker
Developed by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the TS050 HYBRID is a sports prototype car with carbon fiber monocoque and closed cockpit body. Its hybrid powertrain employs a midship 2.4-liter twin turbo direct injection V6, a high-powered lithium-ion battery, and Motor Generator Units (MGUs) on front and rear axles. Its superior performance and reliability brought marvelous results in 2018. Now, the car which wrote a new page in Japanese motorsports history is an exciting new addition to the extensive Tamiya 1/24 Sports Car Series, with the highly refined aerodynamic form of the TS050 HYBRID captured in style. About the Model
- This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 194mm, width: 80mm, height: 58mm.
- The honed form with multiple aero parts is recreated with great accuracy.
- Center cowl is split into parts to be painted different colors, for an easier job.
- Decals are provided for red livery sections.
- Carbon fiber pattern decals are also included.
- Comprehensive decal sheet allows creation of No.7 or No.8 car.
- Masking stickers in the box aid with the paint job.
- Synthetic rubber slick tires feature realistic appearance and feel.
