Tamiya 1/350 pienoismalli, rakennussarja.
This summer marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, and the film "YUKIKAZE" will be released. It is based on the destroyer Yukikaze, the only one of the 38 Type A destroyers that served as the Imperial Japanese Navy's main battleships to survive the war and be known as the "Miracle Destroyer." Set against the backdrop of a turbulent era spanning the Pacific War, postwar, and into the present, this epic film depicts the lives and fates of those who struggled to survive. Based on historical facts, the story of Yukikaze is told from a new perspective. A limited-edition kit will be released in special packaging to coincide with the film's nationwide release on Friday, August 15th.
Model Specifications

This plastic model assembly kit recreates the ship's appearance during Operation Ten-Ichi-Go in April 1945, when she served as an escort for the battleship Yamato. To coincide with the release of the film, special packaging is available, inspired by scenes from the film.
- 1/350 scale, overall length 338mm, overall width 31mm. Its powerful form, including its upgraded anti-aircraft machine guns and radar, is faithfully modeled.
- The hull is divided into left and right parts, and the seams in the outer panels and the external electrical wiring are also delicately depicted.
- The anchor chain and propeller shaft are made of high-quality metal.
- Laser processing technology has been used to create the machine guns, even down to the flame suppressors and heat sinks, for a meticulous finish.
- The two main gun turrets and two torpedo tubes can be rotated even after completion thanks to polycaps.
- A pedestal is included for displaying the model in full hull form.
