The Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system is a short-range air defense system. Pantsir-S1 was created in 1994 and put into service in 2010. The Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system is designed to cover civilian and military facilities, including long-range air defense systems, from all modern and advanced air attack weapons. The complex is equipped with a two-band three-coordinate radar station with a phased antenna array, as well as rapid-fire automatic guns and radio-controlled missiles.
